How to summarize anything with AI in Recall
To summarize with AI in Recall, add an article, page, PDF, image, or video by pasting a link, uploading a file, sharing from your phone, or clicking the AI extension. Recall saves it, generates a summary you can save to the notebook, and keeps the original so you can chat with it later.
Add an article, video, or PDF
Paste a link, upload a PDF or image, share from your phone, or click the AI extension on the page you are on.
Get the summary
Choose a summary type and save it to your notebook. Recall keeps the original article, page, file, or transcript.
Chat, listen, or review
Ask questions about the source or across your whole knowledge base, listen to the summary, or turn the source into quiz questions.

What Recall does with a summary
The summary is the short version. Recall keeps the original next to the summary, so you can find both again.
Recall saves the original
Recall saves the article, page, file, video, or episode in your second brain, with everything else you keep.
Recall generates the summary
Recall generates the short version. Recall keeps the original, so the summary is not all you keep.
You can come back to the source
Search a line from the piece later. An article, a PDF, a YouTube video, and a podcast are saved the same way.
Recall organizes the summary
Recall organizes the summary for you, so it lives with everything else in your second brain.
Chat with the summary and the source
Ask what the argument is, or ask across several things you saved. The answer comes from what you saved.
Recall connects related content
Recall links each save to the other articles, videos, and notes you saved on the same idea.
Keep the source
