How the knowledge graph works
To build a knowledge graph in Recall, save articles, videos, PDFs, and notes. Recall extracts keywords from each save and links related saves, and you can add your own links by typing [[ in a note. Open Graph in the web app to see every save as a node, with lines between linked saves.
Save articles, videos, and notes
Add an article, video, PDF, note, or post. That save is what the graph can connect.
Recall links related saves
Recall links related saves and organizes them for you as you save. Add your own links with [[ in a note, and imported Obsidian Markdown keeps its wiki links as connections.
Open the knowledge graph
Start from one save and see what sits next to it. Follow a link back into the summary, the source, or a quiz.
See the knowledge graph in Recall
Open the graph from one save, or from the whole knowledge base. Each save is a point, and a line is a link.
What the knowledge graph shows
Your knowledge graph shows how everything you saved connects, through the links Recall adds and the ones you add yourself.
Automatic and manual links
When two saves are about the same idea, Recall connects them. To connect your own, type double square brackets, [[, in a note and pick what to link.
Graph view
Open the graph to see a save and the ones around it, then jump into any of them.
Related saves resurface
Related saves can show up while you browse, so a connection appears when you are already looking.
A canvas or your knowledge base
A graph of your knowledge base
Some apps give you a canvas and wait for you to connect notes. Recall connects the things you saved.
